Salon Policies For Curly Cuts: Your stylist will use our signature dry cutting technique, so please arrive to the salon with your curls detangled and dry, in their natural state. It is best to let your hair hang freely & to avoid pony tail holders or clips. Due to safety and liability reasons, no children are allowed in the salon if they are not getting serviced. Any clients that are feeling ill or are experiencing any cold/ flu symptoms must notify their stylist prior to their appointment due to Brandie’s mother’s current condition, we would love to avoid having to stop any chance of her being able to be around her mother. COVID-19 Policy Aloha tribe! We are so excited to welcome you back into our space. While some things may be a little different, we are working hard to recreate the Be Kekoa environment you know and love. The changes we are implementing follow the latest health and safety standards to keep you, our stylists, and families safe. Once we open our doors, the following policy will be in place and you will be asked to sign a waiver before receiving any service. POLICY Walk-ins and appointments ~Walk-ins, client visitors, and guests are suspended until further notice. ~Credit card payments made towards the service you are scheduling will be kept by the salon and treated as a cancellation if you fail to adhere to the salon policy. ~You will be asked to wait in your car if there is a wait time between your arrival and service. We will call/text when it's time for you to come in. ~You will be asked to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the salon at all times. Stylists, salon licensed operators, and technicians wellness & hygiene practices ~Stylists, licensed operators, and technicians will have their temperature checked in the Zen Zone before entering the salon. ~Stylists will wear PPE while conducting your service. ~Stylists will sanitize and wash their hands between clients. ~All seating, tables, dryers, hair-washing and styling stations, and capes will be sanitized between client use and at the end of each day. ~To the extent possible, disposable items will be used. ~Common areas will no longer supply magazines, coffee machine, or any other frequently-touched items. ~The credit-card machine will be wiped and sanitized after each use. I have agreed to receive a salon service from Be Kekoa Salon. I understand that before any service may be performed, I must agree to the following: ~To cancel/reschedule my appointment within 24 hours if any of the following applies: I am not feeling well for any reason, I have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or I suspect I have or have had the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 14 days. ~To allow a temperature check once I arrive at the salon and agree to the cancellation/rescheduling of my appointment if my temperature is over 99.0 degrees. ~To wear PPE including a mask and gloves while in the salon. ~To accept charges made by Be Kekoa Salon for failing to agree to this waiver, failing to cancel/reschedule my appointment promptly, or for any no calls/no shows. ~To waive and not pursue any claims/legal action against Be Kekoa Salon should I experience any COVID-19 symptoms or test positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) after receiving service from the salon. Booking this item serves as my agreement to Be Kekoa Salon’s COVID-19 Policy and Waiver.
